Newmarket’s newest luxury destination spa brings beauty and well-being benefits to the region and attracting visitors from far afield. The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel offers a genteel and discreet escape from daily life for both ladies and gentlemen.

Situated adjacent to the stylish Bedford Lodge Hotel, The Spa is housed in a Victorian-built property which once formed part of the estate of the sixth Duke of Bedford. The development has retained many of the building’s original features including the grand staircase and high ceilings which have been restored to reflect a new era in a £5.5 million development.

Guests will lie back and luxuriate in five different water experiences on hand in the spacious mezzanine hydrotherapy pool, relish in the fresh air, enveloped in the warm waters of the rooftop hot tub, experience a Rasul for cleansing and detoxing mud treatments and stimulate the senses with a combination of music, lights and water in the experiential showers.

The Spa also features a state of the art thermal area comprising of a steam room, sauna and Hammam, a decadent relaxation room, which will also be available for private parties, 10 spacious and beautifully styled treatment rooms, a Therapy room for visiting cosmetic doctors offering non-invasive procedures and a Spa lounge where guests will be able to enjoy catching up with friends whilst enjoying a selection of light bites both healthy and indulgent including delicious yet light Lavender Macaroons and Bedford Lodge Hotel’s much coveted American cookies!

The treatment menu has been created in cooperation with leading British spa brand, ESPA and will offer a compact range of natural, holistic and results driven treatments for the face, body and mind. A beauty room will offer Manicures, Pedicures and GELeration from much loved nail care brand Jessica and Microdermabrasion, Skin Peels and IPL will be offered for those wanting instant results.

The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel is open to the public by appointment for a range of treatments as well as spa day and residential spa breaks. Visitors can stay at the adjacent elegant Bedford Lodge Hotel which features 77 stylish bedrooms and suites which have recently been upgraded as part of the hotels £9.5 million expansion programme and dine in the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Squires.
