Sonja Koch and Uwe Schneider opened the doors of Horses of the Sun in September 1997. We offer the following:
- Voltige
- Classical riding
- Therapeutic/special needs riding and voltige
- Summer day camps
- Equine-assisted movement therapy
- Equicize (cross-training for adult riders)
New to Horses of the Sun is the Learning for Life children's program which is designed primarily (but not exclusively) for children between the ages of 6 and 13 (grades 1 through 8) who are home-schooled. Times are also available for children who attend the mainstream schooling system.

We offer classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Classes consist of a wide variety of exercises such as circuit training, crosstraining, interval training, muscle toning, adventure/obstacle course race training and high calorie burning workouts. All fitness levels are welcomed and will be challenged. Whatever your goal is we will help you achieve it.
