The Ontario Hockey Academy is a school that is designed to appeal and meet the escalating need for trained hockey players in North America.

My name is Giles Lascelle and I am the Head Coach here at the Ontario Hockey Academy. I’ve played hockey in Canada, United States, Sweden and Czechoslovakia and I’ve sent over 40 players to NCAA hockey in the past 3 years. The bar to play NCAA or for the National Team keeps moving forward and in turn, so does the demand for young players to respond to these new demands and higher expectations. Ontario sends over 80 players to NCAA yearly, that more than any other province or state. You’re seeing more players departing home at the age of 14 to live in a community far from home to pursue their vision of playing college hockey and in the Olympics. Driven athletes compete harder on a daily basis and push themselves whether being watched or not. The push increases as we raise the volume and intensity on players as they continue to strive for their dream.
