New Image Salon & Spa is now owned by Scott Phillips
and Jason Colbert. The once tanning only salon has now
been expanded and completely remodeled to a modern,
trendier, and clean atmosphere & experience. New Image
Salon & Spa now offers a very diverse list of services
including, tanning - sauna - hair styling - nails - massage.
There are more services coming in the near future.
Tanning –
All tanning equipment has been cleaned and all bulbs have
been replaced. That’s right! Every single bulb has been
replaced. A nice selection of tanning lotions are available
and eye goggles and bottled water provided. Complimentary
Lockers are available to monthly members to store tanning
lotions, eye goggles, and other personal items. A shower is
available for your convenience.
Sauna –
Vidalia now has a carbon filtered infrared sauna available to
help with detoxification, weight loss, relaxation, or for stress
release. One 30 minute session should yield a loss of 600 to
900 calories. A shower is available for your convenience.
Complimentary lockers are available to monthly members to
store lotions, towels, and other personal items.
Infrared Red Light Rejuvenation Booth -
Aside from its cosmetic and anti-aging benefits, RED light
therapy can provide relief from chronic and acute pain
including muscle pain, joint pain, arthritis, high blood pressure,
tissue and nerve damage, and can decrease injury healing time.
Originally discovered by NASA for this purpose, RED light
therapy is now used by professional athletes to promote healing
with powerful results. Infrared light penetrates below the surface
of skin to speed up healing time. Red light has the ability to
stimulate the production of ATP, an important source of energy in
body tissues. This allows ATP to promote rapid action by the body’s
defenses. ATP helps to increase blood circulation, which reduces
swelling and inflammation. Increased blood circulation can benefit
those with high blood pressure because good circulation allows the heart
to do less work. Red light activated ATP stimulates white blood cells
that work to repair damaged tissues, and increases collagen production
that builds elasticity in the skin and can aid in wound healing.
ATP also activates endorphins that provide soothing relief from chronic
and acute pain. Because RED light therapy triggers the body’s own
defenses, it actually treats the sources of pain and doesn’t just mask the
symptoms. RED light therapy provides relief from pain and discomfort
without the side effects of pharmaceutical drugs or surgery.

New Image Salon & Spa is proud to have Tammy Kemp and
her Salon “The Looking Glass” located in the building. Tammy
and Sonya will continue providing the exceptional hair styling
which they have been known for so many years. Stop in or
schedule an appointment for color, cuts, styling, shampooing,
and so much more. Women, men, and children are welcome.
Nails –
Sonya will gladly provide you with a personal & private spa
style regular or French manicure, pedicure with your choice
of acrylic, pink & white, gel nail, & sculptured all while in a
spa chair in a private room with your choice of television,
magazines, music, or just quite time.
Massage –
Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Sweet Bliss
Massage, Katie Wiggins, is an exciting component of New
Image Salon & Spa. Katie offers an array of services including,
Swedish, deep tissue, lomi lomi, hot stone, prenatal, &
reflexology massages along with mud wraps, body scrubs, and
aromatherapy. This provided in a quiet low-lit room with
relaxing music. Katie is formerly of Savannah Day Spa in
Savannah, GA and uses her years of experience to provide an
experience of a lifetime.
