Gita clothing and design was born a couple of years ago when I began learning and loving the art of silk screening. I loved the idea that I could create something on paper and transform it into wearable art.

My designs stem from the true love and respect that I have for yoga; the positivity, spirituality and beauty that it brings to my life every day, is where I find my inspiration for my creations.

I take pride in creating each piece by hand, from start to finish. With good old fashioned pen to paper, never using clip art...these design truly come from the heart.
I promote sustainability and eco consciousness in my production; from water based eco friendly inks used in my silk screening to re using and recycling wherever possible.

I like to think of Gita as a place to buy a wearable piece of positivity that makes you feel beautiful inside and out.
I am honored and humbled to share my creations with all of you, and hopefully spread some love and positivity around... one item at a time.
