How Zumba Changed My Life...

When I first tried Zumba out during 2013 I really wasn't all that good at it and I felt like I was gonna die lol. I remember being covered in sweat, struggling to breathe, however I was having fun, I was moving about and I was enjoying myself! I went a few times then life happened and I didn't go to another class till Monday 23rd March 2014. That's when my life truly began to change! Because that's when I also met my now very dear friend, Kelly. She was doing what she does up on the Zstage and it was amazing! At first I went to the back of the class, too shy to talk to anyone and secretly hoped that no one would notice me lol.

Before I knew it I was moving closer an closer to the front of the class, even getting up on stage to join in and then came my first Zmaster class with Enrique. Getting pulled up on stage to Samba with him was totally amazing and it sparked my curiosity to seek more with Zumba.

I've since been to other Zumba master classes, public events, fundraisers and even went and got certified to become a licensed Zumba instructor on 11th January of 2015. I've met so many truly awesum and inspiring people and made some everlasting friendships!

I've had my own classes in Hamilton near the river as well as in Fairfield but am going to be starting Zumba in my home town of Tokoroa on my 2nd ZIN anniversary. Am so excited to share my love for Zumba with everyone from Tokoroa... bring on 2017!!
