About Alison Kawa
Educated in the fields of psychology and social work, Alison Kawa has always been interested in helping others. She has also been active in a variety of athletic pursuits, including dance.
While familiar with the practice and experience of yoga, it wasn’t until she was discouraged from running due to the impact on her joints that she fully realized the benefits of yoga. A crisis of identity encouraged her to explore her spiritual side, leading to the daily practice of meditation.
Now a Registered Yoga Teacher (200 hour), Alison loves to share her passion with others. She teaches vinyasa flow style classes and also works as a Beachbody coach. Alison completed her yoga training at Namaskar Yoga Studio in Saskatoon, and continues to attend and advance her yoga education.
