The Norfolk Apothecary is a small, organic health, skin and body care, ethical company in Norfolk.
The Norfolk Apothecary - Founded by Niki Senior - an advocate of everything organic, holistic & ethical & Master Herbalist & Aromatherapist.
The Norfolk Apothecary was created from a true love of making natural, organic and ethical skin care products from scratch in her cottage kitchen.
A stroke at the age of 24 left Niki with many severe allergies and intolerances, to foods and to skin care products. Subsequently, Niki decided to create body products just for herself and has done so for over 20 years. However, over the past year it became apparent that friends had become interested in holistic and natural wellbeing for their skin too.
In October 2015, Niki set the long (and often odd-shaped) ball rolling and enlisted an independant chemist to test her handmade, organic creams, lotions and balms in compliance with the EU cosmetic regulations 1223/2009.
In March 2016 Niki received the positive chemical analysis results she'd been waiting for in order to start production and retailing her handmade products. Furthermore, her face cream was proven to be 90.75% organic.
Niki is an animal loving, vegetarian (28 Years), and all products created by The Norfolk Apothecary will be organic and not tested on animals, neither ingredients or the final product. Some products will be suitable for vegans, though not our balms which contain beeswax.
Our holistic and natural ethic doesn't just relate to the product inside the container, our packaging is also ethical and recyclable because all our products are packaged in beautiful glass jars and bottles. No plastics allowed!
We supply individuals and shops across the UK with our unrivalled products and are currently developing our new AniScentia range for canines.
