Dance Hues Studio emphasizes team bonding, and encouraging peers, improving and strengthening technique while learning the art of dance.
Dance Hues Studio services over 20 scholarship students, who receive aid based on their household income and household size that amount to over $20,000 worth of classes per year.
It is the mission of our studio to provide dance to every child who walks through the door. But we need your help to cover the cost of payroll, because as we grow and we service more children, the work load grows, which means the hours of work put in by our owners is insurmountable without pay, because they have to work other jobs.
Without more funds, the studio will have to cut down and limit the amount of scholarships that are given out, this potentially means ripping dance away from the girls who have fallen in love with dance and our studio, and prevent new students from having the same home, safe space, second family, love and passion.
Not only do we provide dance to the underprivileged, but we provide a solid dance foundation with opportunities to perform at community events, in competitions, recitals, etc. We build strong dancers with great technique and a good understanding of multiple facets of dance, including commercial, competitive, concert, circus, and pure art. We also teach them discipline, humility, respect, responsibility, etc.
Dance Hues Studio is a diverse family that supports and uplifts each other, other studios and dancers, and the community.
