The brand new Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre provides you with an incredible health and fitness.

The new leisure centre on Feilden Street is a partnership between Blackburn with Darwen Council and Blackburn College.

It will provide for students and residents with a large fitness suite, a dance/ aerobics studio, sauna and steam room and eight games courts. And of course, a new pool and fun slides.

The design of the new Centre includes a 6 lane, 25-metre pool, a learner small pool, screen-able for single gender use with a moveable floor, two aqua-catchers and a children’s water play zone. There will also be an 80 station fitness suite, a dance/aerobics studio with a sprung floor and a sauna and steam rooms. The two four-court sports halls will be used by the college during the day with public use from 6 pm and during weekends and holidays. There will also be a sports science lab exclusively for college use.
