Developing the person and the athlete
Strength Academy Wales is a non profit Social Enterprise providing the community of Pembrokeshire with opportunities to take part in physical fitness training, Sports Conditioning, recreational and competitive Weightlifting, Para Powerlifting and Powerlifting.
The organisation is committed to providing the Pembrokeshire community with the following aims:-
• providing opportunities for people to take part in recreational and competitive Weightlifting, Disability Powerlifting, sports conditioning, health, fitness and well-being physical activities;
• providing physical training and coaching;
• increasing participation in Weightlifting;
• increasing participation in sports conditioning training;
• increasing the health, fitness and well-being of people in Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas;
• educating, training and developing a well-qualified paid and voluntary workforce and developing work based skills for their future;
• providing employment, apprenticeship and work based learning opportunities;
• impacting strongly on the National performance pathways for sports people in Weightlifting.
