Handcrafted, Nature-Inspired Glassworks - reminding us of our connection to nature.

Kalibri Wood, born in Alberta, has found home on the pristine Kootenay Lake of British Columbia working with glass as an artistic medium. In 2004, she completed here training as a conservation biologist at the University of Alberta. She worked extensively with songbirds as a field biologist, travelling to many wild landscapes across Canada, Central & South America. After the loss of a respected friend & artist in 2011, she was gifted access to a studio, equipment & supplies and learned the ancient art of fusing glass. She brings her inspiration from the natural world and her values of conservation to create simple and elegant pieces that remind us of our connection to nature. Kalibri lives on Kootenay Lake in the Purcell Mountains on an acreage with her husband, dog and cat.
