Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire,
Venue: Trinity church hall, Trinity Street
Teacher: Richard Gaston
We teach Lee style T'ai Chi and Feng Shou kung fu at the Leamington Spa T'ai Chi club.
In 1930 Chan Lee a Taoist exile from war torn China sought sanctuary in London and established the first Taoist T'ai Chi school in the West. His student Chee Soo established the Leamington Spa T'ai Chi club in 1982.
The Lee style T'ai Chi exercises form a flowing sequence of gentle movements which circulate the Chi or life force throughout the body just like the sap flows through a tree in the springtime.
These exercises preserve youth and vitality as well as awakening dormant abilities we all possess.
Feng Shou kung fu is a soft but dynamic self defence art based on Taoist philosophy, it is suitable for both men and women of any age or level of ability.
