Welcome to A YOGA

My mission is to provide a serene, safe, friendly and welcoming space where students can explore their own yoga, develop their very own personal yoga journey and self-transformation. A YOGA - practice will leave students feeling rejuvenated and inspired; opening the doors to positive transformation; ultimately creating a calm and peaceful mind, an open and compassionate heart, and a strong feeling of self-acceptance. My teaching style, approach and voice, allowing for an individual yoga experience.

YOGA IS A JOURNEY TO YOUR INNER SELF
Happiness, peace love and calm already has a place within you. Yoga is a journey to finding that balance, both on and off the mat. A YOGA - practice stretches and strengthens our bodies; it teaches us to mindfully move and connect with our breath, which leads us to be mindful and present in our daily tasks. It nourish our souls and It teaches us the freedom to be still and connects our mind body and soul..

A YOGA – CLASS

Is the perfect beginner’s class for new students who want to learn the fundamental poses and aspects of Hatha yoga, as well as seasoned students, who are looking for a more gentle practice. These classes will allow you to build the knowledge you need to start on your yoga journey, you will learn the basic terminology, adaptions you may require, strength, mindfulness, inner peace, relaxation and flexibility over time.

There will be extra attention to detail and hands ¬on assisting that will help you find ease, confidence and comfort in your practice.
These Hatha yoga classes will set you up for a spiritual and rewarding yoga practice and are open to men and woman of all ages and levels of fitness.

What is yoga?

The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj", which means "to unite " the spirit and physical body together. Yoga has evolved over thousands of years to embrace a wide range of styles and disciplines.

Hatha Yoga

The word Hatha means wilful and forceful

It is system of physical exercises and breathing control used in yoga
Traditional Hatha yoga is a holistic path that includes disciplines, physical postures (asana), purification procedures, breathing (pranayama), and meditation. Hatha practiced in the West consists of mostly physical postures and is also recognized as a gentle introductory yoga for people new to the practice.
