Background and Training
Lucy trained under the internationally renowned Yoga Master, John Ogilvy, in Byron Bay, Australia and Clare Worman, one of the most highly qualified Pilates instructors and Osteopaths in the UK.
Lucy has taught both in the UK and overseas for over 8 years, teaching beginners and intermediate levels and offering expertise in the field of:
- General health and well being including meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques
- Sports therapy (as seen on Sky Sports TV, and official Wycombe Wanderers Football Club teacher)
- Rehabilitation after injury or trauma
- Restorative therapy for serious or long term health issues such as Arthritis, Back/joint pain, MS, ME, Endometriosis, Anxiety and Depression.
Lucy's approach to group classes is fun, open, informative and empowering, offering students the ability to work at their own pace and level, helping students to understand the poses, and philosophy, to gain the most from their practice (see reviews page).
Lucy qualified as a Thai massage therapist and Reiki practitioner in Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2013 and offers 121 sessions specialising in:
- Relaxation
- Health and wellbeing
- Restorative - helping with specific health issues both physical and mental
- Balancing of the energy centres (Chakras)
- Clearing energy pathways (Nadis)
