I chose Individual Fitness as my gym because it is a program designed just for me. John is my trainer and he is VERY upbeat, providing excellent motivation. He makes working out FUN and I look forward to my next visit!

I chose Individual Fitness because well, their name spells it out. You get to workout individually with a trainer and the atmosphere is much better then that of a "regular" gym. Individual fitness is much more personal. I guess you could say it is like a small family. Everyone is friendly, up beat and energetic. John really makes working out fun! They also have equipment to use when you don't want the one on one training days. If you don't like "regular" gym's Individual Fitness is the place for you.

I began working with John and Jim Olson at Individual Fitness about six months ago. I had always been physically active, but, with the onset of arthritis in my knees, had really lapsed into inactivity. At 77, I had no desire to embark on a 'Charles Atlas' regimen, but wanted to return to decent physical condition.
I have worked mostly with John and have been extremely satisfied, not only with the results but with his understanding of my needs and capabilities. I am now able to walk upstairs normally, can get out of my kayak without rolling from the cockpit into shallow water and have and increased level of energy such that I no longer nap during my lunch hour.
I also am aware that i could make even greater progress were it not for business commitments that occasionally preclude my regular attendance, as well as circumstances that make it extremely difficult to adopt the dietary recommendations that are provided. In summary, I have been most pleased with my experience at Individual Fitness, both in terms of the results and the friendly and conscientious guidence of the olson brothers.

I started IF with my wife to get in shape and lose somke weight. I have a bad neck, shoulder, and back. So training has been tough, but I feel better and have more energy than before. I am taking the slower approach on weightloss but my strength and stamina is growing daily. Jim is a great help on our roafd to success and without him we would have already quit!

I have been a member of Individual Fitness for 3 months. I chose IF because I was looking to work with a personal trainer. I've struggled with yo-yo dieting all my life and I knew that this time I needed more structure and guidence than a normal gym would offer me. Once I met Jim and John, I knew I had chosen the right place! I enrolled in their Lifestyle Makeover Plan and in 3 months, I have lost 6% bodyfat. My trainer John has given me the guidence, motivation, and knowledge to reach my goals at a pace that is right for me. I have tried numerous gyms in past years. I didn't stay with any - until signing on with Individual Fitness 4 years ago. I felt quite at ease going my own pace. Not an easy feeling to maintain in other facilities. I truly would be lost without my 2 sessions a week.For me, I have found it helps having a Personal Trainer, John, to oversee my efforts and progress. To help get me over the bumps in the road and keep those muscles forging ahead. An earnest job from both of us..All facets of fitness are offered. Nutritional advice, weights, cardio equipment, proper stretching and stretching exercises in general. And much more. The Olson brothers', John and Jim, are super Postitive young men, ready with helpful suggestions and lots of encouragement.

I have been a client with Individual fitness for several years now. My goals were weight loss and to "get healthy". My customized training sessions with John, as well as cardio for sure keep me motivated and accountable. This is an ongoing journey and isn't always easy. After a workout I feel I have really accomplished something . I definitely have more energy and feel better. I know as I am getting older(!) I am staying fit. John is always positive, non judge-mental, & so encouraging, and of course there is his sense of humor! My sessions with John have become part of my daily routine. I began working out at IF to better control the chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia. I now have fewer flare-ups and if one does occur, it is milder and takes less recovery time. And no matter how tired or sore I am when I start a session with John, I always have more energy and feel better after I finish!

I started going to Individual Fitness when I was in 8th grade, back in 2002. Even though I was young, Jimmy Olson assured me that I was capable to do weight training. Every week I saw myself getting stronger, and the regime he put me through made sure I stayed on task and not cut corners. The results gave me a great boost in self confidence and strength, and I looked forward to going back each week. The trainers there make you feel welcomed and relaxed, as if you were always their friend. I eventually had to stop going because of school work and my job, but I never forgot about Individual Fitness, and told myself that someday I would return. After eight years I did, to get more prepared for Army basic training. It was the same good feeling as before, just with newer equipment, and both trainers even remembered me. Because of the training, I was able to pass the pre-Army physical fitness test, and earn a promotion. I recommend going to Individual Fitness whether you want to be the next Arnold Swarchenegger or if you simply want to be in shape. You will get in shape, and the trainers are experts at improving you and making you feel welcome.

I joined Individual Fitness in March of 2011 because I was looking to gain strength and loose body fat. I had tried to do this several times on my own over a number of years but I never saw the results. I was always left wondering if I was exercising correctly, eating properly or if I was using the right nutritional supplements. In the six months that I have been working with Individual Fitness Trainer John Olson, I have gotten stronger and lowered my body fat by more than 4 percent. Individual Fitness took the guesswork out of fitness training and they have helped me meet my goals. I highly recommend going to Individual Fitness! When beginning to work out, I think it is important to work with a trainer, who is knowledgeable in his field like Jim. At 47 years old, I was worried about hurting myself by pushing too hard, or lifting weights incorrectly and doing damage to myself. My name is Jennifer and I have struggled with my weight/weightloss for many years. I have tried all the diets out there and guess what? FAILED! My experience so far is excellent. They have anextremely clean facility; they hold you accountable for your experience. Exercise from my world is a mathmatical formula. Two donuts equal five hours of sweat on the treadmill. While you start the program they are taking all your baseline information and compiling it in a neat and understandable format. This is how they document your progress. After a certain time they are able to tell your progress. They are courteous and respectful to your needs and help you align your goals to something that is attainable. What this does is keep you motivated, as we know good physical condition is a lifelong commitment. John and Jim will you reach that.
